My husband and I wanted to spend some time away from the family.
We didn’t have a lot of money to waste on a fancy hotel, yet we still wanted our creature comforts.
I went online and started to search for a vacation rental home. I kept thinking how nice it would be to get away from home for a week, and still be able to afford dining in restaurants and playing. I found a couple of nice homes on the beach, and I looked for one that had all the space we wanted. I did see that heating and air conditioning was included, which was perfect for me. The house was absolutely adorable and I couldn’t get over how cute the furnishings were. It was everything I imagined a coastal home would be. The furniture was all uniquely coastal, and even the decor was matching. I loved the linens and how they had a sweet, but not nautical, theme. I had seen that on television, and I would not have been thrilled. I was a bit worried when I didn’t see a central HvAC system. I started looking for the air conditioning and I realized there were window air conditioners in the house. I knew that window air conditioning was quite comfortable so I quit worrying. As long as we had air conditioning for our romantic and quiet week at the beach, I was going to be okay. My husband and I turned on the AC units, and hopped in the car. We went to the local grocery store to stock up on a few snacks and some beer and wine. It was our weekend and we planned on enjoying it.
