Last year when my longtime girlfriend let me know that she was pregnant with our child, I quickly came to realize that things were about to change in a major way! At the time that she told me this I wasn’t making much currency. I had unquestionably low overall motivation, and I had unquestionably few future prospects work wise. Thanks to the help of my father though, he was able to put me in touch with his good pal Fred who owns and operates the most well known Heating and A/C machine contractor in the city… Since my father and his friend had such a high amount of respect for one another, my father was adamant about me not ruining this opportunity and not making an excruciating first impression. To say that I was a little worried about meeting with him would be an understatement… Once Fred and I had a talk about his expectations over the next couple of months and what it would take to task for him I began my work as a Heating and A/C machine repair tech in training. So far while in my time working here it has been extremely difficult. It has also been completely rewarding… Each day I find myself getting a little better and actually learning new information. When I do become certified I will be able to make a pretty excellent living so that I can take care of my family while also enjoying what I do. That alone is completely worth putting in the taxing work to get there, and cheers to becoming a father and starting a long and fulfilling career in the Heating and A/C machine industry!
