My boss decided to buy a brand new laptop for the office and the damn thing has myself and others all tied up.
- I cannot figure out how it works, the ancient laptop still had windows10, but this 1 is completely different.
It’s taxing to navigate the lake beach house screen and figure out how to open multiple windows. I can’t even figure out how to hook up the printer. The laptop should come with a video tutorial or straight-forward to learn step by step instruction. I didn’t want a new laptop, but the company software is no longer supported on our ancient drive so every one of us had no choice, and we use the software everyday to generate invoices for the Heating, Ventilation & A/C maintenance company. The program also calculates our income and profit and loss statements. It’s legitimately important for day to day running of the Heating, Ventilation & A/C dealer, however my boss ordered the laptop last month, so I have 6months to learn how to use it before the other 1 is far too old. The Heating, Ventilation & A/C company is growing everyday and the new laptop and upgraded software will help us find new ways to guess client trends. This is helpful for advertising and running specials, unfortunately, the laptop is so technologically advanced that I’m having a taxing time using it. I know that my three year ancient son could absolutely program a website using the laptop, but I can barely manage to send an email or browse the internet. It’s no wonder so numerous people rely on seasoned laptops and software. The ancient stuff is just easier and easier to use.
