Well, it’s almost the end of the summertime now and both of us shouldn’t have too many incredibly warm days left this year.
Our a/c did an entirely great job on cooling our house this year, right up until the last month or so, i’m not sure what entirely happened, but all of a sudden, the central air conditioner stopped cooling the house off and our house was stuffy and uncomfortable.
The weather around here is unpredictable at best. We live by a single of the great lakes and you never know what the outside temperature is going to be from a single day to the next. We knew that it was a gamble to try and leave the a/c broken throughout the end of the summertime and the fall because possibilities were that both of us were going to need to run the air conditioner at least a few times. But then again, we didn’t entirely want to spend all of that currency on an expensive a/c repair bill at the legitimately end of the warm season, either. My partner decided that the best thing to do would be to try and fix the air conditioner himself. I thought that this was a terrible idea, because I have seen his house improvement projects in the past and they don’t usually end well. Anyway, he started messing around with the air conditioner. Needless to say, the cooling system still isn’t working and I’m afraid that he has done something to the heating and A/C wiring that’s going to end up burning our beach house down. I’m calling the local heating and A/C company to have them come and check everything out for us. I should have entirely just done that in the first place!
