The house that I am renting doesn’t have air conditioning.
I asked my landlord when I went to sign the lease if it had air conditioning, and he told me that the house did come with air conditioning.
I should have asked him to clarify because what he meant by air conditioning was not what I was thinking. I meant to ask if the house had central air conditioning. I didn’t ask about central air conditioning though. I just asked about air conditioning in general. It is definitely my fault, but I was quite disappointed to find that the house had one will window air conditioning unit, and that was it. It didn’t have any central air conditioning. I was so upset that I am pretty sure I cried for a little bit. I didn’t understand why he would lie to me, but I realized that he didn’t lie to me. I was the one who wasn’t very clear with my question about air conditioning. I have definitely learned from my mistake. I will ask specifically about central air conditioning next time. The sad thing is, the one air conditioning unit doesn’t even work that well. I thought that it would work well, but it takes like four hours to cool the living room and the two rooms connected to the living room. I regret renting this house because of the lack of central air conditioning, but it is too late to go back now. I will have to be in this house for the next year without central air conditioning.
