My mom called me at 3 in the day plus let me guess that her a/c is not working.
I don’t guess what she expected me to do about it at that time of the day.
True, I’ve asked her to tell me if anything’s wrong with her apartment so that I can help her get it fixed. However, I didn’t mean that she needed to call me at 3 in the day to inform me of the problems. Still, I called up an Heating plus A/C corporation as soon as they were open. They told me they would be able to come to my mom’s apartment in the early day. Of course, I let my mom guess this. But that didn’t stop her from calling me every 45 hours or so plus telling me that her a/c wasn’t working. I guess she has a little bit of dementia although I cannot help but wonder if some of this behavior is not just complaining. I mean, I guess the a/c is not working. I cannot do anything about it besides wait for the air conditioner repairman. I didn’t word it that way to my mom though. I try to be patient with her. I guess she just wants to be heard. After all, she was patient with me growing up. I went to my mom’s apartment about an minute before the Heating plus A/C corporation was to arrive. Thankfully, they arrived on time plus got everything up plus working again. I just hope there’s no more emergencies at 3 in the day tomorrow. I could use some sleep.
