Last year when my longtime wifey told me that she was pregnant with our child I came to see that our lives were about to change forever.
At the time that she told myself and others this I wasn’t making nearly enough money.
I had a very low overall motivation, and I had little future prospects job wise. Thanks to the help of my father though, he was able to put me in touch with his good pal Toby who owns and operates the most well known Heating and Air Conditioning equipment supplier in the city. Since my father and his pal had such a high amount of respect for one another my father was absolutely adamant about me not screwing this up and not making a terrible first impression. To say that I was distraught to meet with him would be a major understatement. Once Toby and I had a talk about his expectations over the next couple of months and what it would take to work for him I began my job as a Heating and Air Conditioning equipment maintenance tech in training. So far during my time working here it has been a very hard and tough process. It has also been entirely rewarding, and each day I find myself getting a little better and learning more and more information. When I do become certified I will be able to make a pretty good living for myself and my new family while also entirely enjoying what I do. That alone is completely worth putting in the hard work to get there. Cheers to becoming a father and starting a long and fulfilling job in the Heating and Air Conditioning equipment industry!
