The heat was intense then

When in nursing school, I had to spend time in a few medical wings as well as clinics to complete my required hours.

Most of the clinics I was assigned to were in poverty stricken areas that didn’t even have enough fans to keep most people cool.

Summertime was the worst time. It was super sizzling as well as anything I drank to cool me down was not helping. My skin hurt each time I stepped out of the building to walk to the classroom. I had to do our classes in the auditorium section in between doing our medical hours. It was an exhausting as well as tiring portion of my life. The auditorium did not have an air conditioning unit unit either. All it had were a few big fans that merely circulated sizzling as well as stuffy air inside the arena. I was sizzling everyday. I disliked going to class after spending hours in a sizzling hospital. One day I felt a bit woozy, so I sat on a wooden bench for a moment. I must’ve passed out a bit because when I opened my eyes, the clinic’s physician was in front of me. She motioned for her helpers to bring me to the tiny delivery room behind their clinic. It was the only room near the hall equipped with an air conditioning device. They put me on the table as well as told me to rest before our next class. I enjoyed the cold air conditioning unit so much there, but from then on, I knew where the air conditioning unit was kept as well as snuck in that room 1 time a day.
