We went to see a great movie last night but the heating was annoying

Last night my two kids and I went to see this really great movie.

It was one about a dog that we’ve been wanting to see for quite a while and so we were really excited about it.

The weather had been cooling down for quite some time yesterday and so by the time we went to the movies, the temperature outside was really cold. They had it nice and toasty inside the theater, with the heating vents pushing out nice warm air all over the theater. The only thing that annoyed me last night was the fact that every single time the heating kicked on in the theater, there was an irritating ticking sound that accompanied it. It sounded like a woodpecker was inside the theater with us, banging on the air ducts in the ceiling of the room. I don’t know if anyone else noticed it, but I started dreaded the sound of the heating kicking on in there because I knew that the dreaded ticking sound would come right along with it. At one point, I went out and asked the manager if there was anything that he could do about the HVAC ticking sound and he told me that he was aware of the problem. He said that their commercial HVAC company was supposed to be coming to fix the ticking sound the next day, but of course that wasn’t going to help me and my movie experience! The manager was understanding though, and he actually gave me some free tickets to come back again to see the movie once the heating was fixed.
