I was so bummed when I found out that I needed a new air conditioner. I didn’t think that I would need one; I just thought that my old one needed some work done to it. I had been having trouble with my air conditioning unit for some time, but it wasn’t until last month that it finally quit on me altogether. I should have gotten it checked out months ago when I first started having issues with it, but I am a procrastinator, and I didn’t want to spend the money on it at the time. It still worked back then; it just wasn’t as cool as it was previously. I lived with it for months, even though it drove me insane. I hated getting home from work and walking into a warm house. It was still around seventy-five degrees which was much cooler than outside, but I was not cool enough. I called an HVAC company to come over and fix my air conditioner, and they ended up just advising me to get a new one. My old one was not really fixable. They said that they could try to fix it, but there was no guarantee that it would work. On top of that, the air conditioner was very old, so it probably would not have lasted much longer. When they told me the price of getting a new air conditioner installed, I almost fainted. I decided right then that I was not spending the money on a new one. My cousin heard about it, and he decided to buy me an air conditioner. I was absolutely stunned. It was super expensive, but he would not let me pay a penny. I am so thankful for my kind family.
