My office told me a few weeks ago that both of us were all going to have to start returning to the office! My first day back at the office was last Thursday and it did not go as planned… I walked into the office and it was actually stuffy.
I thought that maybe the air conditioner was simply having a hard time keeping up with pretty much everyone back in the office, then well, I later learned that the entire numerous weeks both of us were out of the office the air conditioner wasn’t working, but so that meant when both of us got back the whole office was a mess. It was tepid and sticky, and thankfully, I have my very own office so I was able to get a fan and at least get the air moving around, however, I don’t think that I am going to be able to labor love this for much longer. It is hard enough to labor in an office that is warm, however when the air conditioner isn’t even able to transport the air around it’s almost unbearable. I am going to have to speak to my manager about working at home again because I just don’t think that I am planning to be able to take this for much longer, then at my lake house the Heating, Ventilation, and A/C idea is working perfectly and I don’t have to worry about being too tepid while I am doing some work. I truly do hope that my manager will be alright with my request.
