For the last year, my hubby & I had been trying hard to put away every penny both of us could actually save.
There were times when it was mere change that went into the savings.
Other weeks, both of us could have ten or even twenty dollars. It depended on the bills both of us had to pay, & how much our groceries entirely cost. With numerous kids, our grocery bills were pretty costly at times. Last week, both of us reached out to the Heating & Air Conditioning machine company to have our furnace scheduled for inspection & repair. The two of us also needed to order a new box of air filters for our HVAC machine. The two of us certainly knew the price of the air filters, but both of us weren’t completely sure what the inspection was going to cost. The two of us took a good look at our savings account, & both of us had roughly over $500 to spend with the Heating & Air Conditioning machine corporation. If it went over that amount, we realized that we couldn’t afford it. The two of us sat in the bedroom talking & our youngest child easily walked in. He was still in his pajamas, but he was carrying his piggy bank. He told us that both of us could have all of his money for the Heating & Air Conditioning machine corporation. He didn’t want to be nippy in the Wintertime. I just about cried as I explained that both of us would be doing alright. Mommy & daddy had just about everything covered. I wiped my tears & my hubby was smiling from ear to ear. He picked up our child & told him that both of us weren’t in that much trouble. He told him that both of us just distraught more so than most people. That didn’t mean both of us weren’t nervous when the Heating & Air Conditioning professional got to our residence. When both of us were entirely finished with the inspection, both of us took a $5 bill & put in our son’s piggy bank.
