At times, it was mere change that went into the savings, other times, both of us could have ten or even twenty dollars.
It actually depended on the bills both of us had to pay, in addition to how much our groceries were costing us. With numerous kids, our grocery bills were pretty costly at times. Last week, both of us called the Heating & A/C appliance contractor to have our oil furnace inspection in addition to service. The two of us also needed to order a new box of air filters. We definitely knew the cost of the air filters, however both of us weren’t actually sure what the inspection was going to cost. The two of us took a look at our savings account, in addition to both of us had a little over $500 to spend with the Heating & A/C appliance business. If it went over that amount, both of us were in a great deal of trouble because both of us really couldn’t afford it. The two of us rested in the family room talking and our youngest son decided to come in. He was still in his pajamas, but he was carrying his piggy bank. He said that both of us could have all of his cash for the Heating & A/C appliance business. He didn’t want to be freezing in the winter months. I almost cried as I explained that both of us would be fine. Mommy in addition to Daddy had everything covered. I wiped my tears and my hubby was actually grinning from ear to ear. He picked up my son and let him know that both of us weren’t in that much trouble. He told him that both of us were just worried a little more than everyone, and that didn’t mean both of us weren’t holding our breath when the Heating & A/C contractor showed up. When both of us were entirely finished with the inspection, both of us took a $5 bill and stuffed it in our son’s bank.
