My brother has never been the type of person who splurges and buys himself expensive items. He drives a 20 year old car and only ever buys clothes from the second-hand store. It is not like he can’t afford nice things. My brother has a very high paying job and he lives alone. Well, he lives alone except for his pet bearded dragon. He loves that bearded dragon. He spares no expense when it comes to the bearded dragon. Anyhow, I was surprised when my brother told me he was getting underfloor heating installed in his house. His floors would have to be all torn up to put the heating underneath so he is also getting all new floors. I thought “Good for him. He is finally spending some money for creature comforts.” So when the underfloor heating was all installed I came over to check it out. The new floors looked amazing. He got rid of all the carpeting and had hardwood flooring installed throughout the entire house. The underfloor heating was very comfortable too. I like how evenly it heats up my brother’s house. However I soon found out why he got the underfloor heating installed. I should have guessed it from the beginning. He got the underfloor heating installed for his bearded dragon. He said that the floor was always too cold for his pet. Especially in the winter. Now the bearded dragon can run around and stay warm and comfortable. The bearded dragon seemed to appreciate the heated floors too. He was out and playing on the floors when I visited. I have to say, getting the heated floors installed was a very good idea.
