Should I look for the UL sign on the cooling system?

All of us already had the air vents and the HVAC duct because of the gas furnace

I wanted to guess if I purchased a window cooling system for the house, would I need to look for the UL sign on the AC unit. The man behind the counter looked at myself and others like I was crazy. I had been taught to know that the underwriters laboratory sign meant that it was safe for public use as far as the electrical method went. The man behind the counter told myself and others what was even more pressing when it came to the cooling system was the energy rating. He said the energy rating told you how well the air conditioning unit would be able to cool your house, and how energy efficient it would be. I took in all of the information he provided and I went loft to beginning my search. I must have gone onto fifty unusual websites, in an effort to find the right kind of air conditioning unit for my house. My partner was looking over my shoulder the entire time I was on the websites that concerned air conditioning. It seemed every time I found an AC unit that seemed to be right for us, it either wasn’t available, or it was only in central air conditioning units. All of us talked about all of the information and my partner asked what would be so bad about getting central air conditioning. All of us already had the air vents and the HVAC duct because of the gas furnace. All of us would not need a lot of extra labor done to be able to have it put into the current HVAC duct, other than having the HVAC duct cleaned. I was blissful when the two of us decided to have central air conditioning in our home.
