Leaving us high and dry

These days I am growing increasingly tired of the battle between business owners and lower-level employees.

  • I suppose the people I was with and I are all a bit baffled by the fact that the lowest paid workers in the country have been holding life with one another for all of us in the past few weeks.

It makes no sense that they are expected to put their lives on the line to make minimum wage. If anything, this seems to appreciate definitive proof that something needs to change in the way the people I was with and I have been doing things. I can tell you, even as an office worker I have been extremely frustrated with the way that management treats us, everything down to the indoor air conditions is subpar; Most recently, this came to mind thanks to a big commercial air conditioner failure that the people I was with and I had at work, however normally, our big production section is temperature controlled by a sizable cooling plan on the roof, the commercial air handling unit weighs several tons and it costs a lot of cash to operate the sizable A/C unit. I am sure it also costs a lot of cash to hire Commercial heating and cooling employees to perform routine repair services on the A/C system. That being said, I don’t suppose my boss has a leg to kneel on when he neglects to take care of the air quality control device. The commercial cooling plan broke down about a week ago and he did not want to pay for the professional Heating plus Air Conditioning repair… Rather than having the A/C plan tested or updated, he presented us with an easy A/C window unit in the office and went back to the comfort of his fancy home.
