Over the summer, our central air conditioning tore up and I wanted to see if I could fix it myself instead of calling the local HVAC company.
I try to save money whenever it’s humanly possible because I am saving up for a new car.
I would really like to pay cash for a car, even though that’s not how many people buy cars these days. Most people tend to go into debt for a car, but I just don’t want to do that. Anyway, since I was trying to save money for a car, I didn’t really want to have to pay for an HVAC technician to come and work on my air conditioning unit. I decided that I would watch a few videos online about air conditioning repairs and I would read some of the HVAC blogs that I had heard about. I honestly didn’t really think that it could possibly be all that hard to fix an air conditioning system. I guess I was thinking that I am smarter than I actually am. When I watched the videos, they didn’t make the least bit of sense to me at all. It honestly seemed almost like they were speaking in a different language. I couldn’t figure out a thing from what they were saying and when I started to mess around with the air conditioning unit. Needless to say, I really didn’t make much progress when I tried to fix the A/C unit. I actually probably ended up tearing it up even more than it was to start with. I had to call the HVAC company in the end anyway. My new car just had to wait.
