Just before school I turn off the a/c. I know that it may sound weird that I turn off the a/c just before school, but I personally don’t like a/c all that much, and I work from home. When I go to take my kids to school, I turn off the a/c, and they don’t even know it, and they hate it when the house is the temperature that I like it at, so I only keep the house warm when I am home alone working during the day. The weekends are no fun because the kids don’t go to school, so I can’t keep the house as warm as I wish that I could. Normally, the house gets up to about eighty degrees during the day when I have the a/c off, and I sure do love it. The house is normally about seventy degrees with the a/c on, and to me, that is just too cold. I can do seventy-five degrees, but anything below that feels quite cold to me. Now of course, I grew up in a third world country where no one had a/c anywhere near me, so when I moved here, I was not ready for a/c. I am not sure that I will ever be ready for a/c. It just does not make sense to me, but I know that it does to others including my very own children, so I do use a/c in my house for their sake. I just wish that they liked it warmer than seventy degrees.
