I am really worried about the state of affairs right now.
Not only is it terrifying to look at our country’s response to the global pandemic.
However, it’s also rather terrifying to be trapped inside all the time at the mercy of our central heating and cooling system. We have no choice but to utilize our air conditioning unit day in and day out because it is so incredibly hot outside. We cannot turn off the AC unit for a second without the indoor air becoming sweltering, humid, and dank. You know that it’s extremely expensive to operate a central cooling system 24/7. Besides that, I’m concerned about the wear and tear that it is putting on our heating and cooling system itself. I know that the HVAC system is at least 20 years old and we are just praying for it to continue working. I can’t afford to have an emergency heating and cooling repair service right now. Even worse, I couldn’t possibly replace the air conditioning unit if it broke down anytime soon. This is especially on my mind because I have been struggling to obtain the air filters that I need for my heating and cooling devices. I’m not the sort of person who cheaps out on my air filters. If I am going to be breathing this indoor air all the time it is going to be free of airborne contamination. That means I only use high quality HEPA air filters inside of my HVAC system. Unfortunately, everybody on the planet seems to have the same idea about HEPA air filters. No matter what I try to do I can’t find any HEPA filters in stock.
