I truthfully regret not purchasing a central cooling system system.
When I built this house in the North, I truthfully thought that I would not need a central cooling system system.
I was told by more than 2 people that the un-even temperatures were cool enough while in the summer time in the North that all of us would not need a central cooling system system. Of course, all of this advice about the central cooling system system came from people who had never lived in the North, so I easily should have done our own research. To be fair, when I asked the Heating, Ventilation, and A/C professional that was doing all of the Heating, Ventilation, and A/C labor on the house that I was building, he told myself and others that a lot of people choose not to buy a central cooling system system because they do not suppose that they need it. I decided that if I was wrong about the central cooling system system and the un-even temperatures up here, I could always purchase a central cooling system system later. I regret making that decision. Sure, the un-even temperatures are not nearly as sizzling as the un-even temperatures in the South, but it still gets sizzling in the summer. I am good with the window cooling system systems, and they do a pretty good job at keeping the house cool, but our house would be a lot more comfortable with a central cooling system system. I do not need a central cooling system system, but it would have been pretty convenient to have one, however at this point, it would be way more expensive to buy a central cooling system system, so I am stuck with our decision.
