Last year when my longtime girlfriend told me that she was pregnant with our child I knew that our lives were about to change forever.
- At the time that she told me this I wasn’t making much money, I had a very low overall motivation, and I had very few future prospects career wise.
Thanks to the help of my father however he was able to put me in touch with his buddy Jerry who owns and operates the most well known HVAC business in the city. Since my father and his friend had such a high amount of respect for one another my father was adamant about me now screwing this up and not making a bad first impression, so to say that I was nervous to meet with him would be an understatement. Once Jerry and I had a talk about his expectations over the next couple of months and what it would take to work for him I began my career as an HVAC repair tech in training. So far during my time working here it has been a very tough and challenging process, however it has also been extremely rewarding. Each day I find myself getting a little better and learning new information. When I do become certified I will be able to make a great living for myself and my new family while also loving what I do, and that alone is worth putting in the hard work to get there. Cheers to becoming a father and starting a long and fulfilling career in the HVAC industry!
