When my wife told me that we were invited for dinner at her boss’ home, I wasn’t sure if I wanted to go.
- She said I had to go though because it was extremely important.
I decided I would go for her, even though I didn’t want to. When we got to the place, I felt the familiar heating of radiant heated floors. I actually had radiant heated floors installed at our home a number of years back. My wife was complimenting her boss about the excellent heating system and how nice his home was. It actually became annoying after awhile because she was complimenting him profusely, and she sounded foolish to me. She never really complimented me about anything even though I hired an interior designer to make our home look stunning. She seemed to not be thankful about anything I did though, but her boss, he could make a dumb joke and she would laugh like it was the funniest joke she had ever heard. Even her boss’ wife seemed to be a little bit uncomfortable with the way my wife was acting. I don’t think my wife picked up on that though, and her boss didn’t seem to care either. It was a very awkward evening and then my wife had the nerve to say that I was being rude throughout the dinner. If anything, she was the one being rude, basically flirting with her boss in front of his wife. I figure if things keep going this way, we’re going to end up getting a divorce. But there’s no way I’m going to lose my house with the radiant heated floors to her, I will get a really good lawyer.
