I just for the very first time ever experienced watching the complete installation of a central heating and air conditioning system! My central HVAC unit had completely took a dive, and I had to have a brand new and completely up to date central heat and a/c unit installed into the house I am renting.
Since the landlord takes care of all of that, I didn’t have to pay a cent. But, I had to be here and watch everything and let me tell you it was an awesome experience to see how it’s done! I had no idea that most of the operation of a central heating and air conditioning system takes places through air handlers and other pieces in your attic! At least that is how it was for the house I am renting. They were here a total of 6 hours doing the brand new heating and air conditioning system installation. And most of that time was spent with both certified heat and a/c specialists they sent being up in the attic. I was watching them tear apart the old central heating and air conditioning system material up there and hauling the new stuff up. It was really awesome like I said! Then, it all somehow went to the actual central HVAC unit which sat in the backyard. When they were done they tested the thermostat with both the heating and the air conditioning to see if everything was working properly. They even had a temperature gage they put up in the air vent to make sure of this. I really learned a lot that day.
