The HVAC office needs a copy machine

This morning, I had to go to the office supply store to find a new copy machine for our busy HVAC office.

I am in charge of the HVAC business office and we have seventy different branches located in three different states.

When the company first started, the owner was the only employee for the first two years. Now the HVAC company employs over 500 different men and women in their stores. The business office is located in a separate building away from all of the HVAC repair stores. There are two additional employees that work with me during the day. Most of the time we handle calls, schedule appointments, and work on accounts payable and receivable. This morning was a little bit different, because I had to go to the office supply store to buy a new copy machine. Our copy machine I’ve been broken for a week. I told the boss on Tuesday that I needed to call a repair company. Since we’ve had the same copy machine for 10 years, the owner of the HVAC company told me to buy a new machine. He authorized me to use the company credit card to buy a brand new coffee machine. The best part is that I got to pick out any machine that I wanted. I drove over to the office supply store and sat down with the manager for an hour. We discussed all of our needs and several different items that could fulfill those duties. I chose a nice copy, scanner, printer that can make a thousand copies in less than 30 seconds. The new copier will be delivered at the end of the week.
