I’ve always been big into acting and auditioning for live performances.
I have gone to many acting schools and it’s my true passion in life. Recently when I made the audition for a play, I wasn’t exactly happy with the air quality in the theatre I was working in. I decided to bring my portable UV air purifier. I kept that UV air purifier running every single time I would be rehearsing with the others in the play. The director thought it was a little bit ridiculous at first because he seemed to think the HVAC system was good enough with the air filters they used, but after awhile he started liking the fact that I had that UV air purifier. I think it was when I explained to him on one occasion that the UV light kills harmful bacteria and viruses and the HEPA air filter works great for pulling out 99.9% of contaminants in the air. I certainly don’t believe that the HVAC system in the theatre uses HEPA air filters. That seemed apparent with the lacking air quality. As long as I was using my UV air purifier, the air quality wasn’t so terrible. On the days that I wasn’t there, the director actually missed having that UV air purifier. He actually decided to do something about it. He decided to call up the HVAC company to have a powerful UV air purification system installed in the theatre. This gave everybody peace of mind and comfort with improved air quality and protection from harmful germs.
