I actually was disappointed when my sister started seeing my HVAC professional. They ended up getting married, and it was way too fast in my opinion. I didn’t continue to get my HVAC services from my new brother in law and I warned him to never hurt my sister or he was going to get it. Well, I was surprised when my sister cheated on the guy. I always thought he was the one to worry about, even though deep down I knew he was a good guy. They ended up getting a divorce and he came to me to talk about the situation. He was absolutely devastated because he cared about my sister so much. I thought it was a red flag that they got married too quickly, so I think he should have thought about that too. Even though he was no longer my brother in law, I actually became pretty good friends with the guy. I even invited him to come back and work on my HVAC system regularly again. I have an HVAC service plan with the HVAC company he works for. He was happy to be there for me, even though my sister didn’t like the fact that I was friends with her ex-husband. It’s really a two way street though, I didn’t like it when she married my HVAC professional so suddenly. It just made for a very awkward experience, and I knew somehow that she didn’t care that much about him. Perhaps she just wanted to use him for his money, because he did have a lot of money saved up and he makes good money in his profession. They did have a very expensive wedding and honeymoon.
