Do you ever watch movies or shows where people are sneaking around through the ductwork? I always wondered if all of that was even possible, because I know the ductwork in my apartment is absolutely flimsy and surely couldn’t hold a human being; Could it be that the ductwork in multiple facilities is so high quality plus so large, that it could hold people moving around in it? Well, I was so curious about this subject that I decided to do a little research on it. It turns out that in most cases, this is just not possible, at least not the way they do it in the movies. In most cases where the ductwork is absolutely giant enough for a small human to get through, that ductwork will abruptly start to become narrower and you would run into fans or some other kind of obstruction, Also, in a secure facility such as in the movies where they have these large ductwork systems that are used with some sort of powerful heating plus cooling system, it would be likely that they would employ advanced security measures to prevent intruders and pests.
