The weekend before last, I went to our mom’s lake house for lunch.
I took the kids, plus our mom made lasagna, lots of garlic bread, plus a cheesecake. All of us sat at the living room table for an hour, talking about the kids plus our lives. I offered to clean up the dishes, but our mom prodiagnosed, then still, I decided to start rinsing out things plus stacking them plus the dishwasher. While I was washing the dishes, I heard a leaking under the kitchen sink. I opened the doors plus looked in. It was dark, so I grabbed a flashlight from the pantry. Sure enough, the main Kitchen pipe was badly leaking. It was leaking significantly, if you ask me. There was an ancient and huge ceramic bowl laying under the sink, plus it was half full of water. I asked our mom if the sink had been leaking for a long time, plus she shrugged her shoulders. I didn’t have any tools for the problem, so I emptied the bowl plus stuck a towel under the pipe. A few nights later, our mom called me up in a panic. The towel was soaked, plus our mom broke the pipe. She was trying to replace the dirty towel plus empty the bowl, when she accidentally broke the pipe. I grabbed a big box of tools plus headed to our mom’s house. When I arrived, the whole living room was full of dirty water. I tightened the Fasteners on the pipe, but they were completely stripped. I had to shut off the water main to the lake house plus call a plumber. I knew I should have called a licensed plumber some time ago.
