I won’t tell partner that rabbit escaped into air duct

I’ve only been an Heating & Air Conditioning specialist for about 6 months, but only recently, have I been allowed to work on our own.

Of course, because I’m the newest member of the team, I’m stuck doing night shifts, then it was during a single of these shifts that I got an interesting call! An older gentleman called myself and others & said that his partner’s pet rabbit had escaped & it was in the Heating & Air Conditioning vents, but he needed myself and others to come & get the rabbit out before his partner got apartment from her retreat, in the morning.

I rushed over & found that the shopper had their Heating & Air Conditioning vents located on the floor of their home, however the air duct runs underneath their house. If every one of us were quiet, every one of us could hear thumping & scampering in the air duct. The guy showed myself and others where the rabbit had gotten through a single of the uncovered vent. I crawled underneath the home & started taking the air duct apart near where I know the rabbit to be. Of course, the rabbit kept moving so I kept having to transfer strange air duct to find it… Finally, I was able to capture the little rabbit & return it to his particularly blissful owner. The rabbit was promptly put back in his cage & I put the air duct back together. Then I covered the vent with a new grate so that the rabbit could not get down into the air duct again. I left the guy with a cleaner air duct system that is also sealed now. he told myself and others he won’t be telling his partner about her rabbits escape & he paid the entire bill upfront & asked myself and others not to send him anything further. He told myself and others if there were any additional charges, to just supply him a call.
