I need a personal, portable air conditioner

Working in the warehouse is very hot work and air conditioners on the roof cannot keep up with the heat. Having the bay doors open almost all day let’s what cool air there is out. But of course, this cannot be helped. We have to load the trucks, that’s our job. But this summer heat is really making me question whether I want to keep this job or not. I do need the money though so I started looking online for some portable air conditioning options. Some of them were rather interesting but most of them have to be plugged into an outlet. That wouldn’t work because of the nature of my job. That’s when I came across an air conditioner that fits around your waist and it blows cold air into a special jacket that holds the cooled air. It’s all battery operated and it says it runs up to eight hours. That would be great if it really works. I was looking into buying this air-conditioned jacket thing but I found out that it’s only sold in Japan. It’s extremely expensive to ship it to the US. Besides that, with the currency conversion, the jacket is very expensive to buy. I guess I’ll just have to forgo the personal air conditioner for now. Oh well, if I can’t get comfortably cool at work, at least my home air conditioner works great. I can look forward to kicking off my boots and sitting in front of my ductwork at home every evening. That might be enough to keep me going at the warehouse for a little longer.
