I had just moved into this new apartment, in a nice city.
For some reason, my presence seemed to attract the attention of others.
It was about 2 o’clock in the morning and I had just gotten to my apartment from a gathering at a friend’s house. I heard something from inside, as I approached the door, I wished I had decided to have an alarm installed when it was suggested. I went to turn on the light in my study room, and there was my property owner resting there with my shoes on. I looked at him with a confused look on my face, and I asked him why he was there, and he claimed he was there to fix my air conditioning system. This was definitely odd, because there was nothing wrong with my air conditioning unit. My property owner continued to stumble over to the temperature control, tap on it, as well as said once again that it wasn’t working right. I went over to where he was resting and slowly approached him. I smelled something on his breath that told me all I needed to know, I realized I needed to get him out of my home, and told him to just that. He said that he only came over because he had gotten a call from one of his properties saying the air conditioning component was broken. He claimed he could not remember which arena the call was in reference to. I looked at him and repeated my statement and told him again to leave. He left instantly and I checked the temperature control and as I had already figured, the AC system was just fine. Two months later, I moved out.
