Closed doors break off Heating & Air Conditioning circulation

Ever since both of us got a current puppy, our central a/c has not been working right.

The temperature control always seems to be incommon & certain rooms of the apartment are freezing cold while the others are too warm.

I suppose this might be due to the fact that both of us keep the family room doors closed throughout the day in order to keep the puppy out of them, but we don’t want her having accidents on the carpet after all. The family room doors all close easily tightly too. They aren’t sealed, love outdoor doors usually are… But there are not any gaps under the door either. I can only feel that the air conditioned air gets trapped in each of the rooms instead of moving into the whole house. When I called a heating & a/c company, they offered us a few ideas, and first of all, they could install zone control in each room of the apartment so that both of us could control the temperature in each room. Another option would be to break the doors so that the cool air could circulate better. Also, they could install vents above the doors to let the air out. The final suggestion was that both of us simply get baby gates to block the rooms off from the pet. And then I could leave the doors open & the puppy could not get in. I absolutely love the zone control option however it sounds kind of extravagant. I am not sure I want to break the doors either! Getting a baby gate, or 2, sounds love a reasonable option. I don’t assume why both of us did not suppose of it earlier. I suppose both of us might go with that plan for now, after all, the puppy will not stay a puppy forever.
