An undoubtedly chilly weekend

Down south it’s so damn sizzling that you can barely go someplace without having access to air conditioning! Where I am now living I never have to use air conditioning since it’s usually a perfect mix of warmth and cool outside

Ever since I moved away from where I grew up to pursue our job and other things in life I always get a bit of grief from friends and family who still live there. They tend to lightheartedly tell me things appreciate I left them behind and they miss being able to see our face. I feel they most likely mean well, but there is something about the way that our friends and family say this that seems to be genuine! Anyways, due to the holidays being right around the corner I booked a ticket and flew back house for a few weeks, however once I landed and got to our parents house I started to remember the reason that I moved away in the first venue. Down south it’s so damn sizzling that you can barely go someplace without having access to air conditioning! Where I am now living I never have to use air conditioning since it’s usually a perfect mix of warmth and cool outside. Sometimes during the Winter time and fall weeks I have to turn on our furnace for a day or 2, although I never have to worry about the heat. During our stay down south I have felt appreciate I am stuck inside during the day due to the fear of being a sweaty mess from the heat. This fact mixed with the stress that our parents give me on a biweekly basis is starting to make me realize this could be the last time I come back “home” in a long time, then my parents are still more than welcome to visit me where it’s cool, but coming back to a venue where I need air conditioning nearly 24/7 just to get by isn’t for me.
