Adopted new pet… he hates sleeping with me at night

Honestly, every night I appreciate to cool down the beach house significantly before I try to sleep – and I recognize I make it harshly cold

For about a year, the only thing that I have wanted in my entire life was my pet back. I lost him in a breakup in 2019, and it has really devastated me to continue living without him. I never moved on from the loss, and I never adopted a new pet… However, eventually it became clear that I needed to transfer on with my life and make some positive decisions so that I could get out of this depressive spell. I finally decided that it was time to adopt a new pet and add a little appreciate back into my life. I desperately wanted a new best friend, and that has exactly what I was looking for when I entered the Humane Society a few weeks ago. I almost immediately clicked with a pet as I walked through the kennels. Soon, I was bringing him home, and the two of us were cuddling on the couch appreciate a ecstatic family, but everything seemed to be going great, until night time rolled around. I woke up in the middle of the night and my pet was nowhere to be found. For weeks, he disappeared in the night and I had no system why. Then, I finally realized that he hated my indoor air temperature preferences at night. Honestly, every night I appreciate to cool down the beach house significantly before I try to sleep – and I recognize I make it harshly cold. I appreciate my indoor air temperature to be super cold and dry so I can drift off peacefully under a stack of sizzling blankets; Apparently, opening my windows in the middle of Winter and turning off the oil furnace did not bode well for my pup. He was constantly leaving my room to seek out sizzling air vents while I huddled under the blankets in my ice cold room.
